Medical Receptionist/Administrator
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Medical Receptionist/Administrator. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. This is a part-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient information
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, emails, and scanning documents
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and scanners
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
Administration work is a big part of the receptionist role so being able to work across multiple platforms is advantageous.
We are looking for someone for the following afternoons-
Mon 14:00-18:00
Tues 13:30-18:30
Wed 13:30-18:30
Total 14 hours
with some flexibility to help cover holidays/sickness when needed.
